Paul Donato is more than just an employee in the Food and Beverage department at Encore Boston Harbor, he is a true asset to his community. Seeking ways to help and support the vulnerable population during the COVID-19 pandemic, he and his young daughters took it upon themselves to make Get Well Soon cards and donate lunches to sick patients at Tufts Medical Center.
While Paul was looking for additional ways to help, he reached out to his manager, Krista Christensen and learned that her mother worked at a local hospital. Krista’s mother informed them that although the hospital had many food donations, they needed water. Paul and Krista jumped into action and bought and donated water and Italian ice (slush) to three local Boston hospitals. Paul's daughters decorated sign's to be used at the deliveries to the hospitals.
As Paul himself expressed, “We cannot wait to get back to work and be with our second families offering Five-Star service to guests. As for now, we will continue to help and pray for those struggling during this time.”
