Wynn is committed to team members’ individual development, and is furthering its efforts through an employee scholarship program beginning in 2018. The Foundation awards up to 10 scholarships per academic year to Wynn employees or dependents of employees. Scholarship recipients are awarded up to $7,500 per academic year. Scholarships are awarded up to a maximum of four academic years.

Applications are reviewed by the Employee Advisory Council, a committee comprised of 12 Wynn Resorts employees across various departments and position types ranging from line level to property executives. Final scholarship award selections are made by an Independent Selection Committee representative of a wide range of industries and organizations.

Awards have been made for the 2018-2019 Academic Year. Five employees and five dependents of employees were chosen as the inaugural scholarship recipients.

The scholarship application portal is set to open again in April of 2019 for the 2019-2020 Academic year.

MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT MAURICE WOODEN

MAURICE WOODEN

“Wynn employees have had a long-standing commitment to bettering the communities in which they live and work. Since the launch of the Wynn Foundation, we have provided an opportunity for our employees to continue to build the tradition of giving back and provided a platform in which their donations go even further with the company’s match program. Our company’s success and well-being of our diverse group employees is contingent upon investment in the local communities in which we operate.”
